My best friend plays this song and she plays the flute and so does I it's rlly good!
Such an epic band song
0:54 honestly is my fav part the trumpets are epic
What software do you use to write these down?
Same torture as Quotour 1964 but slightly easier!
Amazing song! Played it last year
Me and my high school sr. concert band played this song in New York City. Practicing and working up to that moment was difficult; we put in countless hours of work in order to perform in America. We were so close to meeting Michael in person due to friend connections, but unfortunate we couldn't. Still, very thankful. ❤
So sorry to have missed you!
Playing this as part of my marching show
what school? i want to hear it !

Man.. I love playing the flute as a very complex background sound and this is why.
My band had an amazing trombone and horn section for this so this was awesome

And I was the best euphonium player😢
I played this in middle school🙉
We are playing this for band 🙏
I love video scores, but I miss the synth version. Any way we could get that back?
It hit me today that he was 27 years old when at least this video came out and he said he made it around when he was this age. This is super neat because in the description for this song (it might be called the composer notes or something idk) apparently when you’re 27 Saturn returns to the place where it was when you were born and this is often a time of self reflection. I wish I could have asked more about this very fascinating piece but I’ve heard it has a sad back story so I felt bad. 🫠
That senior clarinet girl was so chill
Michael Markowski came to my school and helped us with this song today (March 23 2024) such a cool experience. He had us play it way faster then we had been and it was so neat to finally do that. He asked what felt different about it, I didn’t get to answer but I wanted to say it didn’t feel like I was playing 120 and the other sections were playing 120 but now it was like we’re all just playing together by instinct and not thinking about it since it was so fast becausethere was no time to think, just play and feel the music. I also wanted to ask more about Saturn Returns because we played it last year but I felt bad because I knew it would all lead back to him saying how it was a break up song and I didn’t want to have him say that.
I love this peice I’m in advanced band at my highschool and I’m playing trumpet 3 it is so fun to play we are playing it for festival in the 25th:))
I’m the only trumpet playing the high b in my ensemble and am hyperventilating every time I have to play it
i played this in seventh grade for my honors band <33 i was first chair tenor and the youngest in the entire band!!! unforgettable
What program do you use to make music?
Can’t believe this guy is gonna pull up to my school next weekend and help us with his song Shadow Rituals. Weird coincidence but last year he came and also taught us a song that had the initials SR (Saturn Returns)
Goat song
Thanks for using a saxophone.

Ok!
We’re playing this for our middle school concert and I’m the only bass clarinet at 28. Love it
Thank you very much for making this piece as it really changed my vision of music and helped me look into my music in different ways and hellped me as a percussionist
